How We Build It

Most pavement failures start below the surface. Every Huff project follows the same sequence, from a single driveway to a commercial lot.

Site Evaluation

We check the surface, base, slope and drainage on site before pricing the work.

Grading & Base

Failed material comes out, and the base is corrected and compacted.

Drainage

Grades are set so water leaves the surface instead of pooling.

Paving

Asphalt is placed by paver and compacted to a consistent thickness.

Clean Finish

Edges, cleanup and a final walkthrough with you.

Who You're Hiring

Huff General Engineering is led by owner Michael Huffaker, who grew up in the communities we serve. He learned the trade operating grinders and Vögele pavers and running 500, 1,000 and 2,000-ton paving days on production crews.

Today his crews pave estate driveways, private roads and commercial lots across the Bay Area and Sacramento corridor, with the same focus on proper preparation, solid installation and clean execution.
